Install OSIRIS LUTs for Adobe Premiere

1. Download any of the LUT Component Packages
2. Extract the contents
3. Save the OSIRIS folder on your computer. For example:

  MAC:    Applications/VisionColor/Osiris

  WIN:   Program Files/VisionColor/Osiris

Adobe Premiere CC comes with the Lumetri Color Panel. You will be using this panel to load and apply your OSIRIS LUTs to your footage. Since you installed the LUTs to the above folder they will not show up in the Lumetri drop down menus. This makes it very convenient to share the LUTs with Photoshop and other applications.

Now simply go into Lumetri, twirl down the 'Creative' section and click 'Browse' to navigate to the folder you store your OSIRIS LUTs in. 

You can of course also install LUTs directly into Lumetri for quick access.  Simply copy the .cube files from OSIRIS to:

  MAC:  Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CC/Contents/Lumetri/LUTs/Creative

  WIN:  Program FilesAdobeAdobe Premiere Pro CCLumetriLUTsCreative

Install OSIRIS LUTs for Adobe After Effects

1. Download any of the  LUT Component Packages
2. Extract the contents
3. Save the OSIRIS folder on your computer. For example:

  MAC:    Applications/VisionColor/Osiris

  WIN:   Program Files/VisionColor/Osiris

Adobe After Effects CC has a native plugin to load and apply LUTs:

Effects -> Utility -> Apply Color LUT

Simply navigate to your OSRIS folder and load your LUT of choice.

Install OSIRIS LUTs for Adobe Photoshop

1. Download any of the LUT Component Packages
2. Extract the contents
3. Save the OSIRIS folder on your computer. For example:

  MAC:    Applications/VisionColor/Osiris

  WIN:   Program Files/VisionColor/Osiris

Adobe Photoshop CC has a native plugin to load and apply 3D LUTs:

Image -> Adjustments -> Color Lookup:

Simply navigate to the Osiris folder location and apply your favorite LUT.

Optional: You can also install OSIRIS LUTs directly into the Color Lookup dropdown menu for quick access. To achieve this simply copy the .cube files from OSIRIS to:

  MAC:  Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC*/Presets/3D LUTs

  WIN:  Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CC*Presets3D LUTs

Install OSIRIS LUTs for Davinci Resolve

1. Download any of the LUT Component Packages.
2. Go to a new project in Davinci Resolve.
3. Select project settings.
4. In the settings window go to color management.
5. Scroll down a little and select Open LUT folder.
6. Copy your OSIRIS LUTs into this folder.
7. Once you copied all the LUTs click UPDATE LIST or simply restart the program.

Now your OSIRIS LUTs are directly available from within Resolve. Simply right-click on a corrector node, choose 3D LUT and select any LUT you want.

Right click / Cmd + click on a corrector node to apply your LUT of choice.

Install OSIRIS LUTs for Affinity Photo

1. Download any of the LUT Component Packages
2. Extract the contents
3. Save the OSIRIS folder on your computer. For example:

  MAC:    Applications/VisionColor/Osiris

  WIN:   Program Files/VisionColor/Osiris

Affinity Photo has a native plugin to load and apply 3D LUTs:

Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> 3D LUT Adjustment:

Next simply click "Load LUT" and navigate to your Osiris folder to load your 3D LUT into Affinity.

Install OSIRIS LUTs for Final Cut Pro X

Final Cut Pro X can not natively load 3D LUTs. So in order to work with LUTs you will have to install a third party plugin.

At the time of writing, these are some excellent LUT plugins for FCPX and - most of them are free!

1. LUT Loader - Pixel Film Studios (free)
2. mLUT - MotionVFX (free)
3. LUTx - CoreMelt (free)
4. Color Finale  (paid)

Make sure you have a capable LUT plugin insalled for Final Cut.

Next, download the LUT Component Package from the Color.io AppStore.

All of the Final Cut Plugins listed above require LUTs to be installed to different folders so please refer to their documenation to learn where to put your OSIRIS LUTs.

Install OSIRIS LUTs for VEGAS

Not all version of VEGAS support LUTs out of the box. 

Currently only Vegas Pro 15 can load and apply 3D LUTs without requiring a third party plugin. All other versions require our very own VisionColor LUT Plugin

Proceed if you have ensured that your version of Vegas can load LUTs either natively or with a plugin.

1. Download the LUT Component Package
2. Extract the contents
3. Save the OSIRIS folder on your computer. For example:

  MAC:    Applications/VisionColor/Osiris

  WIN:   Program Files/VisionColor/Osiris

Now simply apply your LUT plugin to a clip or track and select the LUT you want to apply to your footage by browsing the file system.

Install OSIRIS LUTs for other applications

One thing that makes OSIRIS LUTs great is that they are practically open-source with a format that can be loaded and applied in tons of applications and also directly on many professional cameras and on-set monitors. 

Because of the sheer number of supported applications and devices we can not explicitly list all installation instructions. If your particular application is not listed above but can load 3D LUTs there's a very good chance that it can load Osiris!

Downloading the LUT Component Package from your account will give you access to all of the included LUT files:

Unless your application requires a specific folder location we suggest storing OSIRIS here:

  MAC:    Applications/VisionColor/Osiris

  WIN:   Program Files/VisionColor/Osiris

From here, you can copy the LUTs or folder to any target directory or device you require. Note: We do not impose any restrictions on the number of devices if you personally own and operate them.
